Little Rock is the capital and the most populous city of the U.S. state of Arkansas and the county seat of Pulaski County. The Metropolitan Statistical Area, had a population of 675,069 people, according to 2008 census estimates. The MSA is in turn included in the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Pine Bluff, Arkansas Combined Statistical Area, which had a population of 850,561 in the 2008 census estimates. As of 2007 according to the US census, Little Rock had a population of 187,452.

Located near the geographic center of Arkansas, Little Rock derives its name from a small rock formation on the south bank of the Arkansas River called la Petite Roche ("the little rock"). The "little rock" was used by early river traffic as a landmark and became a well-known river crossing.

JOB DETAILS:

Occupational therapists help patients of all ages who have limited abilities establish, develop and/or maintain the ability to complete
daily functions and tasks. Through regular therapy sessions, occupational therapists work one-on-one with patients, focusing
on their individual needs to help them achieve improved quality of life and a sense of independence. Occupational therapy
concentrates on ameliorating the physical, mental, social and emotional sources of patients’ disabilities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Have successfully completed and graduated from an accredited occupational therapy professional program
Completed all fieldwork requirements.

Licenses or Certification:
Current state license
Documentation of Occupational Therapy training (CEU’s)
BLS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifts, positions, pushes and transfers patients and or supplies and equipment. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Key board activity and equipment maneuvering, view screen and assess patients while scanning.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Therapist reports to the Recruiting Manager and or Account Executive. This position will also have accountability to the Department Manager or Supervisor.
