JOB DETAILS:
Working under the direction of physical therapists, assistants possess a great deal of responsibility in providing treatment and
rehabilitative services to patients who have experienced injury or disabling disease. Physical therapist assistants provide patients
with exercises, massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction and ultrasound, among other assigned
duties. These individuals are also responsible for the monitoring and documentation of patient treatment and response.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduation from an accredited program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifts, positions, pushes and transfers patients and or supplies and equipment. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Key board activity
and equipment maneuvering, view screen and assess patients while scanning.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Therapist reports to the Recruiting Manager and or Account Executive. This position will also have accountability to the Department Manager or Supervisor.
