Hiring
The Pharmacy personnel we hire undergoes an extensive process of application, testing, background checks, drug screening, license and reference verification, plus an in-depth interview-before they are even dispatched to your facility. We never leave anything to chance, because we know that as far as the competency of pharmacy personnel is concerned, there can be no room for mistakes.
We are a Joint Commission certied registry. We will partner with your facility on every audit by immediately responding to your requests and using whatever audit format your facility favors. Our excellent, specially tailored computer program also enables us to keep track of the credentials and evaluations of all our personnel.
Mediscan carries every professional insurance contract and is compliant with all federal and state laws.
Quality Improvement
At Mediscan, we feel our job does not end with the hiring and placement of medical professionals at your facility. We continue to remain closely involved with our employees by monitoring their performance. We conduct a thorough follow up on every incident report, including employee counseling and disciplinary action if needed. We also maintain annual performance evaluations based on input from our client facilities.
As a part of Mediscan’s client satisfaction program, our representatives regularly visit facilities to obtain feedback on the caliber of service we provide. We then discuss this service history during our frequent staff meetings, as well as promptly address any concerns and staffing issues that may arise. We also make sure there is always one point of contact on hand whom any facility may call to submit a concern, because we understand how important it is to get in touch with the right person to secure an immediate resolution.
We even monitor our own performance with monthly usage reports that are specifically generated by our computer program to help us track the number of filled and open orders at each facility.
