Hiring
In the interest of building a long-term relationship with our clients, we go to great lengths to ensure customer satisfaction. This means finding the most highly trained respiratory care and EEG practitioners for the job, then subjecting them to an intensive screening process including a series of interviews and a background check. We accept only fully credentialed and experienced respiratory care practitioners into Mediscan’s staffing program.
We are a Joint Commission certified registry. We will partner with your facility on every audit by immediately responding to your requests and using an audit format that your facility prefers. Our excellent, specially tailored computer program also enables us to keep track of the credentials and evaluations of all our personnel.
Mediscan carries every professional insurance contract and is compliant with all federal and state laws.
Quality Staffing Procedures
At Mediscan, our job does not end with the placement of our respiratory care and EEG practitioners in the health care industry. We view every hospital order as a priority, so we make sure our personnel is trained to follow all the necessary procedures. We also respond to every incident report, instituting employee counseling and disciplinary action should the need arise.
As a part of Mediscan’s quality improvement program, our representatives visit facilities on a regular basis to obtain feedback on the caliber of service we provide. We then discuss this service history at frequent staff meetings in order to promptly address any concerns and staffing issues that might occur. We also make sure there is always one point of contact on hand whom any facility may call to address a complaint, because we understand how important it is to get in touch with the right person to secure an immediate resolution.
We even monitor our own performance with monthly usage reports that are specifically generated by our computer program to help us track the number of filled and open orders at each facility.
